“Layers” (2025) is a mystical film about a young woman who travels to another city for a short work trip and rents an apartment for a few days. Inside those unfamiliar walls, strange and subtle events begin to unfold — events that draw her inward and force her to confront parts of herself she has long avoided, including aspects of her own cultural or ethnic identity. Through these quiet, enigmatic experiences, she starts to uncover hidden layers of her inner world and the potential she never dared to acknowledge. “Layers” is a reflective, atmospheric journey into the depths of self-discovery.
